The National Association of People with AIDS (NAPWA) was founded over two decades ago as a network of people living with AIDS and HIV (PLWHA) working to better the quality of life for all. NAPWA was the central mechanism for various social and community groups of PWA/H to articulate their voice on Capitol Hill, organize for treatment education, and connect with other people going through similar struggles.
