Consumers for Quality Care

Consumers for Quality Care (CQC) was established in 1994 to investigate and report publicly on the epidemic of medical malpractice and reckless corporate care-cutting by HMOs. CQC has worked diligently to become a nationally recognized, highly effective consumer watchdog group that champions greater accountability for cost-cutting HMOs and dangerous doctors; preserves and expands the legal rights and remedies of consumers; and protects high quality health care.
